Denver McCarthy is a foundational figure in the NZ electronic scene. As Micronism, his Inside A Quiet Mind LP and Steps to Recovery EP are understated classics, full of quiet power. Denver abruptly left the music world in 1999, and entered a Krishna ashram. Now based in Brisbane, his work has recently been reissued via Loop and Delsin Records, and Denver has begun to make music again.
