[Ep.14 Literature] Plato Was For The Gays

<p>Welcome to another episode!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>This week we are talking about a very special book, because our topic is literature! Brittany was in charge of the drinks this week and, feeling inspired from the book, she came up with a special cocktail just for the occasion. They are enjoying: 'Summer's in Phthia' (which is a name Brittany came up with right this second). To make this refreshing drink: mix together a bottle of mead, half of a bottle of rose, and muddled strawberries. Let infuse together in the fridge for a few hours. Then serve with frozen strawberries and top with peach sparking water. Enjoy!</p> <p><br></p> <p>The book we are discussing in this weeks episode is the very popular book: '<em>The Song of Achilles</em>' by Madeline Miller. This book is a retelling of Homer's '<em>The Iliad</em>' and it focuses more on telling the story of the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus. It's a book of gods, kings, adventure, pain, and mostly, love. We were really into this week's topic, therefore, this is our longest episode to date!</p> <p>Honestly, we pretty much go through this book from cover to cover.
