(Rangeela, Bombay, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam).  Mehboob Kotwal, deserves all our attention & appreciation, as he is the lyricist who has written songs of, not only some of the best movies of Mani Ratnam, Ram Gopal Varma & Sanjay Leela Bhansali but also albums like ‘Pal’ to ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’! It is just goosebumps, when he narrates stories behind the making of these iconic songs, his ‘struggle’ days along with Ismail Darbar, those jamming sessions with Rahman, RGV & Mani Ratnam when they created history!
