Ep. 105: My Spiritual Journey Part 1

<p>For the first time on the show, I share how my spiritual journey unfolded, starting in my teens.</p> <p>We all have our unique journey of spiritual awakening: for some it’s a lightning bolt kind of moment, for others, a slow journey into the depths of our soul and connection with Spirit.</p> <p>Looking back, I can see how the strands were weaving together to take me on a spiritual path, right from my teenage years, although I wasn’t consciously aware of it at the time.</p> <p>Yoga, then reiki, some crystal healing, and spiritual healing: these were tools I used to create balance and ease the stress of a busy London twenty-something lifestyle.</p> <p>I found Buddhist meditation to be a really grounding and powerful practice to manage stress and my weekly meditation evening was an oasis of calm in my week.</p> <p>As my interest in alternative therapies grew into the desire to learn more, I even got a grant from the UK government to study reiki!
