Environmental protection in Baimaxueshan Nature Reserve

In the northwestern part of Yunnan sits a Nature Reserve that covers more than 280 thousand hectares. This is the Baimaxueshan Nature Reserve, a well-preserved natural habitat for all kinds of animals and plants. There are also many endangered species in the area, including the white eared pheasant.
