Description

The COO of Ennis 2040 claims the development of high density units is essential in order to meet future housing demand. The Designated Activity Company has appointed a design team to develop a masterplan for a high-quality multi purpose sustainable facility with the potential to deliver up to 45 residential units at Francis Street in the county town. The build will take place at the existing site of six derelict & unoccupied properties, which local activists believe should be repurposed as 'disability and pensioner' friendly ground level accommodation. However Chief Operating Officer of Ennis 2040, Kevin Corrigan says low quantity settlements will not tackle the housing crisis.
