England vs Scotland: He fades out – Stuart Pearce criticizes Rashford after 3-1 win

<p>England legend, Stuart Pearce, has criticized Marcus Rashford following his performance during the Three Lions’ international friendly win over Scotland on Tuesday.</p>, <p>Pearce said Rashford faded out during the encounter, adding that the Manchester United forward looked ‘uninterested’ at times.</p>, <p>Recall that goals from Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane ensured England defeated Scotland 3-1 at Hampden Park.</p>, <p>Harry Maguire did score an own goal in the second half of the match.</p>, <p>“This is where I sort of have a little bit of a frustration with Rashford,” Pearce told talkSPORT.</p>, <p>“I think he can grab hold of the game for 90 minutes and run past people and be like Thierry Henry. You remember Henry in the Premier League, it was like a man against kids on occasion.</p>, <p>“I just think he fades out the game too regularly and this second half is a point in case for me.”</p>, <p>He added, “Marcus has got the ability to do that, I’d just like to see him do it a little bit more regularly, I really would.</p>, <p>“There was that period in the second half when the game’s gone against us and I am thinking, ‘You look a little bit uninterested in the game here.’”</p>
