The series was developed by Gaiman, David S. Goyer, and Allan Heinberg for the streaming service Netflix, and is produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. Like the comic, <em>The Sandman</em> tells the story of Dream of The Endless, the titular Sandman.
