Drier & Mild Start To February; A More Active Weather Pattern to End Meteorological Winter & the Month

<p>The general track of these systems over Central Plains and the Upper Midwest, are regions that have seen some snowfall events thus far this winter and even, though in drought, snowfall amounts, and current snowpack are above normal and have received their typical seasonal snowfall. The southern end of the storm system should be ripe for another round of severe weather as well.  Also, these systems will sweep cold air across the country, but it looks like it will be brief.  Next week's weather pattern looks to be quite busy and have folks checking on the forecast and logger range models are hinting that the following week may be similarly busy to end meteorological winter and the month.</p>
