Discussing the challenges and opportunities for LGBT+ businesses in Canada

<p>The LGBT+ community is still facing many challenges even after a lot of progress has been made. Integrity-based businesses are more successful when they have an inclusive culture. Every day, the LGBT+ community makes significant contributions to our economy and society in many ways—from being leaders of communities across industries, including finance or technology; creating new media content that reaches audiences worldwide online through social platforms such as Facebook pages and YouTube channels; working hard at making Canada a better place</p><p>We were recently joined by Darrell Schuurman. Darrell is an advocate of effecting social change through the economic empowerment of LGBT+ entrepreneurs. He is the co-founder and CEO of the CGLCC, Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, a national not-for-profit organization with a mission to expand the opportunities and advancement of the LGBT+ business community in Canada.</p><p>In this podcast, Darrell discusses the challenges that you see for this industry in Canada why it is important for LGBT+ businesses to be recognized in Canada, the role of CGLCC to help small business owners in the LGBT+ community.
