<p>Deputy Mayor Councillor Lisa Scomazzon has demanded an investigation into the Daintree Ferry contract negotiations. Council were left with no choice but to pay Sirron Enterprises $4.5 million dollars of ratepayers money to secure the service from July 1st. Mayor Michael Kerr seconded her motion at todays Council Meeting and welcomes the independent enquiry. FAB FM's Paul Makin chats to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor about this dramatic move.
