Democratic lawmakers begin incremental limitations of Cuomo’s pandemic powers

Mar. 5, 2021 - Since the early days of the pandemic, the Governor has had expanded emergency powers to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Asm. Ken Zebrowski (D-Clarkstown), chair of the Assembly Governmental Operations Committee, explained the legislative bill which would limit these powers.
