Decades of Abuse | The Turpin Family

<div>In this episode, we will be discussing horrific instances of child abuse.  Listener discretion is advised.</div> <br> <div>In 2018, a brave 17 year-old managed to escape the home where she had been held captive her entire life.  She found a deactivated cell-phone that she took with her on her escape, and she called 911.  She told police that she had been kept locked in a room for 20 hours a day and was allowed one shower per year. </div> <br> <div>When police arrived, they found TWELVE additional children locked in the house.  Human feces, dead animals and rotten food covered the entire property.
