DAY 542: The state of our democracy

<p>The Jan. 6th committee subpoenas the Secret Service over deleted text messages from Jan. 6 and the day before. This comes as the panel officially announces it’s next primetime hearing, which will look at what Trump was and wasn’t doing during the Capitol attack. The House passes two bills to protect abortion rights, though they are unlikely to pass in the Senate.
