(1). You must create a theme for your tree. (2). Decide what kind of tree you want to use. Fraser Fir: Strong branches, yellowish-green in color and has a strong fragrance. Douglas Fir: Strong branches, dark green in color and has a strong fragrance. Canaan Fir: Strong branches, rich green in color and has a medium fragrance. Concolor Fir: Strong branches, bluish-green in color and has a medium fragrance. Scotch Pine: Strong branches, dark green in color and has a medium fragrance. Virginia Pine: Not so strong branches, green in color and has a medium fragrance. White Pine: Not so strong branches, light bluish-green in color and has a low fragrance. Blue Spruce: Strong branches, silver blue in color and has a strong fragrance. (3). Add your lights to the tree. (4). Hang your ornaments strategically. (5). Fill in any gaps with picks.
