Day 170: Foreign (Bible Tribe 1 Kings 11-15)

<p>Being unequally yoked with unbelievers turns our hearts away. God’s command to Solomon to not associate with foreign women was not because of their race, but because of their faith.</p> <p><strong>Bible Reading:</strong> <strong>1 Kings 11-15</strong></p> <p>Verse of the day: 1 Kings 11:1–3, "Now King Solomon loved many foreign women . . .  from the nations of which the Lord had said to the sons of Israel, “You shall not associate with them, nor shall they associate with you; they will certainly turn your heart away to follow their gods.” . . . And his wives turned his heart away.”</p> <p>Word of the day: Foreign. It is the Hebrew word:  נָכְרִי (nok-ree').</p>
