<p>Hey guys!!</p> <p><br></p> <p>We waited almost a full year and now THE WAIT IS OVER!</p> <p><br></p> <p>Marvel's DARK AGES has ARRIVED!</p> <p><br></p> <p>HEROES WILL RISE. HEROES WILL FALL. AND YOU WILL FEEL EVERY MOMENT OF IT.</p> <p><br></p> <p>If anyone remembers last year's Free Comic Book Day Issue from Marvel, they will recall that this story was given a BRIEF BUT DRAMATIC preview</p> <p><br></p> <p>See ORIGINAL POST FROM AUGUST 2020 HERE : https://www.instagram.com/p/CDvCSdJhdj2/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link</p> <p><br></p> <p>Basically, the WORLD WAS ENDING, and very terribly at that! &nbsp;It was VERY DARK moment for the people of Earth and for some OUR FAVORITE HEROES, including IRON MAN who literally falls from the sky legless!!</p> <p><br></p> <p>I think, all things considered, during that moment in REAL EARTH HISTORY, the creative and editorial teams at Marvel probably decided against releasing such a disheartening story...&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>So they waited, and waited, and waited for a better real-life world mood before releasing this, and I cannot blame them one bit</p> <p><br></p> <p>It appears they also recrafted the story, with some character and tone changes</p> <p><br></p> <p>To start, in this version it is Spiderman not Iron Man, who is the LEADOFF HEROE. &nbsp;Also, although the world is DEFINITELY ending in this story, or at least ending as we know it, the overall mood is not as SEVERELY APOCALYPTIC as the previous version hinted to be</p> <p><br></p> <p>Cons: Very few. &nbsp;The pace is swift, but this does not distract from the overall awesomeness of the plot</p> <p><br></p> <p>Pros: Genuine character building is present at all times. &nbsp;Something that has been missing in Marvel, as of recently</p> <p><br></p> <p>Overall: &nbsp;This is a GREAT ISSUE! &nbsp;One of the best and most complete issues I have read from Marvel since almost last summer. &nbsp;The story development and character reactions are genuine, heart-pounding, and can be really felt by the reader</p> <p><br></p>
