Daredevil Season 2 Retrospective - Nerds Talk Movies #63

<p>(This podcast episode contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Daredevil Season 2)</p> <p>This week on Nerds Talk Movies, we are continuing our Daredevil Retrospective tour with the show’s second season.</p> <p>Daredevil Season 2 was released on March 18th, 2016 and generally, audiences probably consider it to be the worst season in the series. </p> <p>To be fair, it seems that the majority of people still really liked the season. They just believed it was weaker compared to Seasons 1 and 3. The mixed feelings from audiences really stemmed from the two major arcs during the season. </p> <p>Daredevil Season 2 would kick off with The Punisher’s rampage in Hell’s Kitchen, which was a bonafide hit amongst critics and audiences. Why? Well, the most obvious reason was Jon Bernthal’s incredible performance as Frank Castle </p> <p>The second half of the season focused on The Hand organization and Matt Murdock’s ex-girlfriend/vigilante, Elektra. </p> <p>Although it seemed like everyone enjoyed Elodie Yung as Elektra, the general consensus is that her character was simply involved in a dull storyline with the Black Sky and The Hand.</p> <p>So, what did we think of the season?
