<p>Should we give incentives based on merit or based on diversity?</p> <p>What do I mean by this?</p> <p>In computer science, we don’t have a lot of women in the field.</p> <p>The ones we do have, like Dana Angluin, are brilliant.</p> <p>The question comes up - should there be incentives for more women to get started in the industry?</p> <p>I believe incentives should be based on merit, not on diversity.
