<p>The family is important in demonstrating the Lord’s intent to use the family as a model of &nbsp;His expression of love to the world.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family is composed of people who have feelings &nbsp;and emotions and because we have feelings and emotions, we can be hurt.&nbsp;</p> <p>This hurt can &nbsp;impact behavior and our beliefs about God, family, and real love. &nbsp;</p> <p>Boys and girls learn their identity early and usually from their fathers. It is natural to seek &nbsp;love and attention from our fathers.&nbsp;</p> <p>When our natural fathers withhold their love from us &nbsp;or mistreat us, deep wounds form that only the love of the Father can heal.&nbsp;</p> <p>People who &nbsp;suffer from this type of neglect can go through life jeopardizing their own emotional and &nbsp;spiritual health and forming unhealthy bonds with others due to having “Daddy Issues” &nbsp;beginning in early childhood.</p>
