Cryptocurrency and blockchain-related stocks are suffering as investors shift away from riskier assets

This resulted in a huge decline in bitcoin stock values.</p> <p>Shares of several of the largest cryptocurrency institutions, such as MicroStrategy (MSTR) and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), fell by 8% and 13%, respectively. The stock price of Tesla, the electric car firm that just announced that it would accept Dogecoin as payment for its merchandise, resisted the decline.</p> <p>According to CoinGecko data, cryptocurrencies in the top 30 by market capitalisation had a double-digit price loss. Prices for Solana, Cardano, and Terra have fallen by more than 15%.
