After I teach each song, with suggested hand-drumming rhythms and lyrics, I invite people to add their own improvisation to the song. I demonstrate and teach improvisational drumming and vocal skills, such as listening to others, taking turns, and being creative. It's not just about drumming, you may choose to sing, hum, or play a different instrument.
