In 1992, he created the main character in his trilogy of Young Adult / Science-Fiction novels, Excelsior, and three years later, he would create the initial story that would eventually be his five-part science-fiction / sports serial From Parts Unknown. George is also a storyteller through his audiobook narrating of over fifteen titles of varying genres, and through his podcasts, such as Excelsior Journeys - where he provides a spotlight for creatives to share their personal journey to success. He served as the President of the Missouri Writers Guild from 2017-2018, and is the co-founder of the Once Upon a Podcast Network, a collection of shows focused on inspiring, motivating, celebrating, educating, and even rejuvenating creatives everywhere.
