Cooler Heading into the Weekend Warmer Coming Out; 90 to 100-degree Heat Next Week; Rain Chances Today & Next Wed/Thu

<p>Two more cooler days with scattered showers and storms mainly south of I-70 this morning later this afternoon through early tomorrow morning.  The rain may be too late for fall crops already seeing drought stress and lower yields, but we should see pastures, lawns, and gardens green-up a bit.  Daytime temps will be in the upper 70’s and low 80’s and at night around 60.   Sunday and for the first days of August high-pressure ridging will return from the west and move over the area with the return of 90 to 100-degree heat and dry conditions. </p>
