Conservative about the Environment: Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye

In our latest “How Tweet It Is” video, Neil deGrasse Tyson reads his tweet about how he’s conservative about the environment, as in, “curtailing green house gas emissions so we can conserve the environment.” Bill Nye reminds Neil that Teddy Roosevelt, who was a Republican, greatly expanded our national parks, and that the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) were both created under Richard Nixon, a Republican president who was considered a conservative by many Americans.
