Connecting Isaiah 27 with Romans 11 and the Olivet Discourse (Isa. 27:7-11)

<p>Contrary to the coming translations, Isaiah 27 is not describing forgiveness for the Jews, but their slaughter at the hand of God. The Apostle Paul verifies this as he interprets this passage in light of the coming of Christ. Jesus also spoke of the fall of Jerusalem and the sounding of the great trumpet to follow. Did that trumpet already sound?</p>
