The Google ad has led to a social media stir, with people pointing out that there is no airport in Limerick and that the closest airport is Shannon, in County Clare. Perhaps the advertisement was just a simple mistake or oversight, but is this offensive to Clare? that the incorrect assumption that Shannon Airport is in Limerick was made.
