Cold & Wintry This Week; Followed by Warmer More Seasonal Weekend; Next Week Warms Into the 70’s

<p>After a cold and snowy weekend, temperature will moderate into the low 30’s today and low 40’s tomorrow, ahead of the next disturbance and cold air surge on Wednesday.  High pressure moves over the region today, then off to the east tomorrow, resulting in northwest flow turning to the southwest warming temps to readings, still below normal for this time of the year.  Wednesday snow showers develop in upsloping flow along a stalled front along I-70, ahead of a low-pressure and cold front swinging through overnight.  This could lead to some blowing and drifting snow and cold temps for Wednesday night and Thursday.   Friday remains cold with morning temps around zero and afternoon temps in the 20’s to low 30’s.  Over the weekend high-pressure leads to warmer more seasonal weather conditions.     </p>
