Description
A Clare technology expert claims parents and schools need to have serious discussions over phone usage to prevent cyber-bullying. It follows the results of a new survey this week which found that over 25% of primary school children here aged 8 to 12 have experienced cyberbullying, rising to 43% for girls in secondary school. Education Minister Norma Foley meanwhile has signalled her intention to push regulations that would ban phones in national schools next year. However Pat Clarke Browne from Munster Business in Shannon believes the sutudent-phone relationship needs to change.
