A Clare recruiter is warning the housing shortage is the single impediment to economic growth and is creating a crisis for businesses. It follows a new survey from the IT Alliance, which found that 43 per cent of business leaders don't have enough staff to meet their needs. The Co-founder of Careerwise in Shannon says companies can't expand as they can't find staff and this is posing big problems in attracting Foreign Direct Investment companies into the country.
