Clare Man Shines Light On Hidradenitis Suppurativa Condition During HS Awareness Week

On Wednesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Barry McGrath from Parteen who is living with a long-term condition known as Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). He spoke on behalf of a recently formed patient association, HS Ireland, which is a patient- focused organisation formed to support people in Ireland affected by Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Barry discussed the physical and mental symptoms that the average person with HS experiences day to day, along with sharing his own experience with the lifelong condition. Barry highlighted how important it is to raise awareness amongst people in order to help those who are awaiting a diagnosis.
