Clare GP Warns People Not To Avoid Medical Treatment To Cut Back On Spending

A prominent Clare GP is warning patients with long-term conditions not to avoid medical treatment as a means to cut back on spending. Ennis GP Dr Maire Finn has been telling Clare FM's Morning Focus she recalls people who were just over the threshold for the medical card making difficult decisions to cut back after the last recession which she says is now having a bigger impact on their health.
