Clare Gardaí Reminding The Public Of The Illegality Of Bonfires This Halloween

Clare Gardaí are encouraging young people to be responsible for their own actions this Halloween. Last year, fire crews were dispatched to four separate bonfires across 24 hours, including one in Shannon and three in Ennis. Meanwhile, a bonfire incident in Cloughleigh resulted in fire service personnel being attacked with stones and a fire appliance being vandalised. Shannon Inspector Paul Slattery insists it's up to every individual to ensure there are as few instances of criminality as possible this weekend.
