Clare County Council Confident New Intra Town Bus Service Will Revitalise Ennis

Clare County Council is hailing a significant step forward in the provision of a new intra town public transport system. It follows the finalisation of the preffered routes for the Ennis Town Bus Service following collaboration between the Ennis Municiapl District & The National Transport Authority. The routes will traverse Ennis from the Tulla Road to the Lahinch Road and Clarecastle to Ballmaley via a central terminus at Friar's Walk Bus Park. The twice hourly service is expected to come on stream in early 2025 and Senior Executive Officer of Ennis Municipal District, Leonore O'Neill is confident the extensive service will revolutionise connection in the town.
