Chilly & Rainy Today & Tonight; Decreasing Clouds & Cool Tomorrow; Warm, Breezy & Dry Thu-Sat; Storm Chances for Memorial Day

<p>Today and tomorrow a closed upper-level low will slowly move from southeast CO to the Kansas City area increasing chances for showers and a few rumbles of thunder locally.  Today will be a cloudy, cold and rainy with daytime temps only in the 40’s.  A slow rain through the day and night is possible with accumulations of .50” to 1” will be greatly beneficial but not a drought buster. The trough and low will lift out of the Central U.S Wednesday with temps rebounding but still cool with highs in the mid- 60’s and lows in the upper 30’s to around 40.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday high-pressure, and ridging will warm temps in the 80’s and 90’s with dry and breezy south southwesterly winds.   </p>
