Changing Time Ag Wx; Record Breaking Heat Across the Plains; Maybe a Few Days of Relief Early Next Week

<p>Today and tomorrow high-pressure ridge is more amplified over Colorado and more flattened with northwest flow over the area, then shifts east over the Plains Friday and Saturday.   This brings only minor reprieves from the heat, as frontal boundary moves through, while lows tracks along the Canadian border and lowers daytime temps in the mid to upper 90’s.  This brings slightly better chances for isolated and scattered evening storms, especially on Thursday.  Friday and Saturday will bring the return of 100-degree heat, possibly some fire concerns and less chances for the storms.  Saturday night and Sunday a stronger front and disturbance moves through the area as ridge shifts back west increasing evening and overnight storm potential with more moisture in place to work with.   </p>
