Car Sales In Clare Marginally Up From 2019

Electric car sales in Clare so far this year are almost double last year's figures. New data from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry reveals 98% more electric cars have been sold in this county so far this year than the same period last year. From January to July, there were 346 electric car sales in Clare compared to 175 last year while 440 petrol electric hybrids have been sold this year compared to 385 in the same period in 2022. Director General of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry Brian Cooke supply improvements as well as a greater variety of models available have contributed to the rise in electric vehicles.
