CAO System Revamp To Allow School Leavers Apply For Apprenticeships and Training Schemes

On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Marie O’Callaghan, Post-Leaving Certificate Course Co-ordinator at The College of Further Education and Training Ennis Campus on the Clon Road and Sarah Noonan, Guidence Councillor with the ETB and Apprenticehip Expert The CAO system is due for a major shake-up, which will make it easier for students to apply for apprenticeships, training programmes and further educations courses. Central Applications Office's online portal for applying to college courses will receive a significant revamp, in order to give students more options when they are planning for their third-level education.
