Canyon Ryan Addresses Albany Common Council

At the February 6 meeting, the Albany Common Council held a public hearing on new rules proposed to require more affordable housing units in large developments in Albany. Canyon Ryan the executive director of the United Tenants of Albany spoke to the council on his group’s work on the issue. The Council later passed the new requirements in a unanimous vote.
