Can a small YouTube channel grow in 2023 with shorts??

<p>YouTube is going all-in this year with #shorts to take on the royalty of short video content TikTok - but as a small channel, is it worth jumping in and creating shorts for your channel as well as your regular content? </p><p>I have a small, sustainability in Japan focused YouTube channel of 3.2K subscribers which has grown from 20 subs in 2020. Here I talk through my growth strategy to stay on brand and some of the encouraging positive changes I have seen in views and subscribers since I started the daily video challenge of 2023.
