Author Brinda Charry discusses her first U.S. published book, The East Indian. Brinda came to this country from India as a graduate student in 1999 and has been living here ever since, currently in Keene, NH. She is a novelist-turned-academic-returned-novelist. A specialist in English Renaissance literature (Shakespeare and contemporaries), Brinda has published a number of books and articles in that field.
