Burren Ecotourism Network Resumes Monthly Clean Ups

On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Nuala Mulqueeny, Managing Director of the family run Aillwee Burren Experience, situated in The Burren. The Burren Ecotourism Network is resuming its monthly cleanups and is inviting members of the community to get involved to help tackle waste in the region. Nuala spoke about why the cleanups were halted for a period of time and explained that just because the clean ups were halted doesn't mean they stopped picking up litter. She also highlighted how the cleanups are a brilliant way to meet new people and it doesn't eat into your time as they only last an hour.
