Book of Jonah - Chapter 4 - Prog 07

<p>Our study continues in the book of Jonah, chapter 4. </p><p> As chapter 4 opens, we find Jonah very displeased with the situation in which God did not judge Nineveh. Of course he gives God a reason for his displeasure. </p><p> God now has to deal with his servant Jonah on a personal level. Jonah seems to have had a death wish because he was so angry that his prophecy did not come true. God had compassion on Nineveh who repented at the Word of God. This is what caused Jonah to become angry. </p><p> Dr. Mitchell points our hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation as being the focus of our circumstances. He can and does have great compassion on each of us in whatever situation we are in. </p><p> Let’s turn to Jonah 4 with Dr. Michell.
