Bonus Podcast: Why Bhad Bhabie Should Host SNL (4/26/21)

<p>This weekend it was announced that Elon Musk would be hosting “Saturday Night Live.” Twitter reacted with the appropriate eye-roll that this booking deserved. Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest, that’s fine, Miley rules. People on Twitter started creating memes of fake SNL bookings.&nbsp;</p><br><p>Not that “Saturday Night Live” has claimed to be part of the counterculture since 1980, it begged me to ask the question, where IS the counterculture these days? Where is that “good” bad taste that John Waters has spent 75 years teaching us about? Some of them might be the future of art. Whether Yung Lean speaks to you musically or not, this is what I’m noticing as having at least SOME element of “shock value” to it. Though we want to be smart about. John Waters has said, and forgive me this is not a direct quote, “We were no different than the Manson family.
