<p>This week we feature singer and guitar and mandolin player Mark Newton.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> Mark has had a long career in bluegrass music playing with bands like the Heights of Grass, Knoxville Grass, the Virginia Squires and Bill Emerson.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> Mark has recently had some medical issues required both liver and kidney transplants.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> I will talk to Mark about various aspects of his bluegrass career and the challenges of his medical problems.</p>
