'Beauty lies' - in the eyes of the beholder

Nothing can be faulted when all is truth, right and valuable to the one beheld (incl where we're our own beholders). I'm a believer in that, Truth is absolute but people are subjective. With that, what bothers me is the esteem accorded to the subjection (and lies about) measures of 'beauty' that impacts lives so greatly by sources/beholders/beings that we know are incapable of being perfect, determining measures of perfection. Such a contradiction that even i struggle with even after dishing my fair share. Where and when were we mandated to measure what is beautiful, exceptional and gruesomely impose and use judgement to discredit one over another beats me. I continue to try to comprehend such dictions though without blowing my mind, one can't help but wonder what it would all be like when such wasn't a thing to go by. Where what is, is as it was created and absolute, without being marinated by our flawed add ons and reshaping.
