Be Quick to Humility in Sticky Financial Situations

Words may be held against you. Humble yourself and beg to be free of it.</li> <li>Entrepreneurial Application: Don’t sign contracts or get into business with people where you have to carry their weight. Also, make sure the contracts are fair. Every party involved should come from a position of strength so nobody is left holding a bag they can’t handle and you have to cover for them.</li> </ol> <p>Where has it shown up in my life?</p> <ol> <li>It hasn’t really. People have guaranteed loans for me and I feel obligated to make sure they’re not left holding the bag. Slipped up once with being a little late on a payment and it felt horrible.</li> </ol> <p>Where do I want it to show up in my life?</p> <ol> <li>Help people get to that place of strength so holding loans for people isn’t catastrophic for them.</li> </ol> <p>How can you apply it to your life?</p> <ol> <li>Don’t Guarantee loans for people.
