Our newest guest today Lucia van der Walt works only about 4 hours a week on her businesses, she earns more from home than her husband who is an MD of 2 companies. She is on a mission to help moms earn an income from home, her motto is "working part time earning fulltime." She now teaches stay at home moms how they can start working from home and earn money while they are taking care of their kids and other responsibilities. She teach how one can do affiliate marketing and set up sales & marketing for their business. In this episode we discuss some amazing points like: -When it comes to content for coaching or product based businesses she says recommends two things firstly, making videos of the content you need to use repeatedly to save time as it makes life so much easier and second thing you can do for your sales is make a webinar as that sells for you day in and day out. -But the biggest fear people have is making videos and publishing them, once you get over it everything else becomes so much easier. If you are someone who wants to start your new business and you are committed for two hours a day you can definitely make it. -Being focused on your business for couple of hours is important, the problem is when we get distracted on social media we become consumers rather than producers. -No matter what business you choose just go full fledged into it, don't do it as a hobby working every now and then on it. If you are fully committed for two hours a day working on your business by six months you should be able to cover at least half of your income. Show at least six months of dedication before you switch around thinking it's not working. Three best strategies one can use when they are a newbie: - Automate (create a course/videos). - Things that you don't enjoy doing just outsource those tasks to someone who loves doing it. - Get right kind of mentor they will give you the blue prints to grow your business, they will short cut your learning curve majorly.
