Baptism and Reformed Piety
SYDNEY 🕊
Description

When I first looked into the question of baptism—particularly infant baptism—as I was coming to Reformed convictions, a friend put three books in my hands that were particularly helpful. Today I'm talking to Dr. John V. Fesko, author of Word, Water, and Spirit (among other excellent works). As far as I am concerned, it is the single most helpful book on the subject of baptism that's been written since John Murray's little book, Christian Baptism. This episode gives an overview of Christian baptism from a systematic, redemptive-historical, and church history perspective and ends with a great section on the experiential benefit that the believer derives from his or her baptism.

Dr. Fesko, thanks again for joining me!

★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
