It seems we use the caps lock so much, we recognize this day twice a year; October 22nd and June 28th....it's kind of a tongue in cheek day... because the majority of the world’s population writes in scripts which have no concept of letter casing. but in 1874 Remington introduces the typewriter featuring the first QWERTY keyboard, invented by Christopher Latham Sholes and Carlos Glidden, and it types only in upper case letters. then in 1878 The Remington No. 2, which can type in both upper and lower case letters, debuts.</p>
